“The essence of a role-playing game is that it is a group, cooperative experience. There is no winning or losing, but rather the value is in the experience of imagining yourself as a character in whatever genre you’re involved in, whether it’s a fantasy game, the Wild West, secret agents or whatever else. You get to sort of vicariously experience those things.”
– Gary Gygax
“It’s my job to create a fantasy.”
– Anne Heche
Welcome to my blog! \(^_^)/ My name is Theo Dudek and this is the first post in my first personal website (not counting myspace, LJ, etc).
My primary interest is role-playing games of all kinds. I believe that role-playing games are the highest art form developed in the 20th century. Nothing gives me more pleasure than exposing new people to RPGs and running as many role-playing campaigns as possible for as many people as possible. Role-playing isn’t just a hobby to me; it’s my life, and I hope to become professionally employed in the tabletop gaming industry.
I will be using this space to post information about conventions I’m going to, campaigns I’m running, RPG product reviews, and general thoughts on what makes a good GM, what makes a good player, etc. I am also available to run RPGs and storytelling games at reasonable rates for anyone seeking a Dungeon Master/GM! Please email me at “theodudek@gmail.com” for more information.
Okay, that’s all for now, I have to go feed my iguana. Finally, I know some people may think the name of my blog is boasting but I ask you: play in one of my games first and THEN decide. -_- This is my first time using WordPress so I welcome all feedback, criticism, comments and descriptions of characters, monsters, adventures from your personal roleplaying campaigns! Anyone who loves RPGs, or might love RPGs, is welcome here, so come on by! ^^

Dude! I totally played D&D with you at anime expo last year. Nice campaign, even if we spent half the session building characters. I’m still laughing about those plague apes.
Of course I remember you! \(^o^)/ Your Tsubasa cosplay was excellent. I’m glad you liked the plague apes (even if they weren’t really apes), you did a great job roleplaying the leprosy!
